Search Engine Opitimization, Painter, and Handyman

At the most recent LeTip meeting there were several exciting speakers all of whom provided those in attendance with great local business information.

LeTip member and Cal Coast Web Design CFO Angie Weeks was the first to speak at the LeTip conference and provided those in attendance with some invaluable tips on how to survive in a tough economy. Angie's speech focused on and pinpointed ways for LeTip members to get more done during the day and spend less money and time doing it. Her primary points of focus where:

Supporting Your Members - In her speech Angie placed an emphasis on teamwork and reminded those in attendance that the members of Letip are essentially a sales force that can accomplish great things when working together as a team as opposed to individually. Angie also urged the members of LeTip to get the word out. To help members with this she suggested that they make use of social media sites like Facebook, and Twitter as well as things like Yahoo reviews and LinkedIn recommendations. Angie drove these points home by emphasizing just how powerful these tools can be and how when used properly can drive business to all the members of LeTip.

Encourage Guests - Angie next moved onto speaking of guest follow up and how it can increase and grow your business exponentially. Angie presented attendees with a plan of action that's sure to boost guest follow up as well as repeat businesses. Angie recommended that business owners make it a priority to acquire the business cards or contact information of all the guests that walk in and out of the LeTip door. Angie emphasized the fact that "Googling" a guest's name or information can result in the discovery of their Twitter, Facebook, or even Mysapce pages. As these sites provide users with extraordinary ways to keep in contact with people, Angie advised members of the LeTip group to follow up with business colleagues and guests through these sites. Building a rapport with guests and speaking to them online can build relationships based on common interests as well as loyalty.

Give And Receive Outside Tips - In the next portion of her speech, Angie Weeks encouraged LeTip members to share businesses tips with each other. Being open to suggestions from others often yields ideas that some people might have missed or find useful. The bigger the room tips are sent out in, the more tips and suggestions you're sure to hear in return. Angie further suggested members utilize online tools such as Facebook to see what other business owners are up to.

The second speaker of the night was Bob Belhumeur of IM Painting, Inc. An Orange County painter who does it all Bob shared some of the secrets behind great painting and shared some general business information with the group. Bob is a member of the Painting Contractors of America and works with 20 of the most consistent and professional painters in all of Orange County. He next told members of LeTip that the painting industry in America alone generates 6 billion dollars annually.

Bob then spoke a bit about his business. He explained that his prices have undergone a 20% reduction and that his business operates on the standard Monday through Friday schedule.

After the conclusion of Bob's speech, Ken Lowe took to the stage to speak on behalf of Michael Sibbio, the president of World Products Group International, Inc. Mr. Lowe spoke to the group about the conveniences of a handy man as well as some of the potential pitfalls people might encounter when attempting to fix things themselves. He suggested that if a new TV does not fit where you had planned to place it or if a new refrigerator doesn't fit in it's predecessors port that you contact Orange County handyman, Michael Sibbio for help!
