Orange County Chiropractors Offer Weight Loss Programs

The Gateway Rehab & Wellness Center is best known for it's Orange County Chiropractic services but there in truth pain and discomfort are but one of the many services we offer at the Center. One of our more popular services is actually our weight loss program. Many people struggle with weight their whole lives and many times, those that want to begin losing weight don't know or aren't sure where to begin. These individuals more often than not turn to the advice of a medical professional for help and guidance. Some of these people even contact us for help.

The weight loss programs at the Gateway Rehab & Wellness Center aren't as simplistic as some might think however. In fact there are many different pieces to the weight loss solutions we offer. The program starts by addressing and assessing the patients current diet. Shortly after that our dietitians will offer suggestions as to how to change and/or improve a patients diet, since a lifestyle change and weight loss starts with eating habits. The new diet will be specifically tailored to each and every patient and will vary greatly depending on individual needs such as BMI, current lifestyle and health history. Individualizing our weight loss program ensures that each patient receives most effective and healthiest way to lose weight.

In addition to assistance and guidance from dietitians we also offer our patients services that allow them to speak with and spend time with lifestyle and weight loss counselors. There are also support groups available for those who need or would appreciate additional support in their efforts. Many studies show that the individuals whom utilize group support and counseling have far greater success rates than do individuals that don't. Topics at group meeting and even with private visits with our dietitians range from diet and exercise to support and even individual progress.
