Our last speaker today was Zen, our Orange County residential realtor. He's with Prudential California Realty and has been in the business 20 yrs. His experience is said to bring calm to the table.
So, what's up with Orange County real estate?
Well, you wouldn't know it from the news, but there is a housing shortage in OC right now. Every house under 500k goes with multiple offers, many over asking price. we're not talking 2 offers either...were talking 13 on a Laguna Niguel short sale and 31 on a bank owned that was completely stripped and gutted!! Talk to a professional if you want to buy real estate right now, its a crazy market with a whole new set of rules! About 60% of homes on the market are short sales or bank foreclosures.
Good tips for Zen are people who need a bigger home, those in trouble with their mortgage, and anyone who has questions about Orange county real estate in general.
