The Right Way to Bank and Clean Your Carpets & Clothes!

Another big day! We had so many guests again!

Katie Cain, our Wachovia banker was up first to speak.
Katie advised us not to believe all of what the news is saying, because much of it is speculation, after the facts.

We need to know that banks have a strong capital base, that way they can weather storms like the ones we are dealing with right now in the economy. Wachovia is one of those banks! Wachovia is also the 4th largest bank! Even Washington Mutual is smaller.

If you choose to do your banking with Katie, she will sit down with you, look at your business and tell you the best features and the best account structure for you.

This is done in a Customer Needs Assessment. You'll have a customer service rep that you can call and they have Wachovia Possibilities, which is a point system for airline miles and other credits!!!

Next up we had Jim Dorsett with Foothill Carpet Care, our Rancho Santa Margarita carpet cleaner.

He began by thanking the group for all the business, then dove into what it takes to to be a carpet cleaner. Jim said that all you really need is a truck and an ad, so consumers BEWARE!!!

Look for someone with experience, like Jim. He can help with carpet cleaning, re-carpeting, drape cleaning and upholstery cleaning.

Jim only uses the best PH neutral, soap free, chemicals. He has a propane burner truck mount which is the best kind and the water he cleans with is 200 degrees, which gives you cleaner carpet with less chemicals.

Most hand-held cleaners are 140 degrees and they leave the detergent in your carpet! And how do you know when there's detergent left in the carpet? If the carpet is crunchy... If this is the case for you, or you just need a dependable and reliable carpet cleaner, call Foothill Carpet Care!

Finally, we had Bill Alvarez, from European Cleaners, our Orange County dry cleaner.

Bill has owned over 27 dry cleaners over the years and dry cleaning is his family business.

So how do you know if your dry cleaner is doing a good job? Well, first off there should be NO odors, the colors shouldn't fade and the clothes should not get a crunchy feel. Crunchy texture seems to be a big no-no when dealing with having clothes and carpet cleaned! :)

Many dry cleaners don't distill their solvent which means you are literally wearing someones sweat. Pretty disgusting right?

Ask your dry cleaner about their process! There are green cleaners now, but again beware of people who just advertise it, and do some research.

Bill uses the Wet Cleaning system as well computers to press your clothes. European Cleaners care about how you look and they also pick up and deliver your dry cleaning... For FREE!!!

That's a wrap for today! See everyone next week!

  1. Hey everyone!

I just wanted to spread the word what an AWESOME job Bill Alvarez and European Dry cleaners did cleaning my Coach purse last week.

YES, they clean purses!!! I wore that poor purse down for a year and a half, and European Dry cleaners made it look LIKE NEW.

They picked up, delivered, let me call in my card, AND gave me back my LeTip pin that was lost in the bottom. Great service...they are the best Orange County Dry Cleaner around :)
