CA DMV Sets A Trap for California Vehicle Owners

As of July 1, 2011 the California Department of Motor Vehicles is no longer required to mail out advance notices for upcoming vehicle registration renewals. They are also adding $12 to the registration fee. There will be a new "grace period" of thirty days before penalties apply.

Check the sticker on your license plate and mark your calendar so that you can be sure to renew on time to avoid late penalties and traffic tickets! Here is the link to the DMV website where you can renew on-line: http://www.dmv.ca.gov/

Plan ahead and don't get caught in the trap!
